"Wonderful" is the emotion we all felt as we read your message regarding Garrett's sweet pea lunch today! We're so happy to hear about his continued progress ... please keep it coming. Aubree also uses the same phrase "sweet" and it touched my heart to have his mom hear him say it again for her. Prayers & thoughts are always with you... may God continue to perform His miracles!!!!!! Aubree & Ashton Mancuso's mama ~ Denise M. Sanchez

Dear Garrett, I am a student at Indiana High School and I was very upset to hear about your accident. I am a member of the football team here and I would like to say that we also as a team prayed for your well being. We are glad to hear you are doing well and continue to hope for the best. In case you were wondering how I knew about you, I am the cousin of Alanna Zuchelli and I've kept asking former Indiana student Pete Steele about you and tonight he gave me the address to this site. I just wanted you to know that I'm pulling for you and never lose faith. -Anthony Stipcak #21

It was another great day with Garrett. He had real food today for lunch even though it was all blended to a mush. He had macaroni and cheese, peaches and green peas. He made a bad expression when he had the peas, but he finished the mac and cheese and kept saying more about the peaches. It was wonderful and we'll try one real meal every day for the next few days to make sure he tolerates it. Those of you that knew Garrett well probably knew that one of his favorite words this summer was "sweet". He had wanted me to find a special t-shirt he had at home and when I showed it to him today he said "sweet". It was the most wonderful word I've heard in a long time - He's coming back! Please, please keep the prayers and messages coming. We need them and I know God hears them. Love, Dottie

Hey Garret! I feel bad because I haven't written yet, but thinking of things to say is kinda hard. I miss you, as well as just about everyone else! I've been down once to see you and hopefully will be coming again soon. I got a hug when I was down, that was exciting! Believe it or not, you helped me so much when only you could give me the advice I needed. I know you will come back to the same old Garret. I can't wait to see you again. Love you Garret and God Bless you and you wonderful family-Love always Michelle Welker

Pork - I miss your wise cracks in the morning, your evil laugh in the lockers, and most of all my best friend being there everyday. I know you will be back as good as new in no time. You have so many people hoping, wishing, and praying for you that God has to hear us. I have never seen people come together for such a great cause in my life. Obviously, you mean a lot to tons of people. It's great to see how far you have come in so little time. Keep it up, or Jordan will be on you like...you can finish that. You are a miracle. I love you, Pork! -Jill P.

Just think, pretty soon we will be at creation again annoying people with that air cannon of yours.. haha! keep up all the hard work and you will be better before you know it. Take care! John Rosko

Garrett~ everyone had told me that you could talk and I had called earlier on, but you were so busy talking to everyone else I never heard much from you. Last night when I called listening to you say Hi to me and that you were watching football brought a smile to my face. The last thing you said to me I was truly amazed because no one told you to say it... you said it on your own, you saying I love you too, brought tears of joy to my eyes. You're fighting this hard and I don't want you to give up!! I love you Garrett and I'll see you real soon!! Aunt Dottie, Uncle Larry, and Jordy~ You guys are holding up so well I can't wait to see you! Love always, Liz
