Dear Lord, We give you thanks for life, for friendships and health. Continue to restore Garrett's body to wholeness. Please grant him the ability to communicate with those who love him and those who work with him at the rehab. We open our hearts to you Lord with all our pain and grief. Please fill us with hope, peace and courage. We give thanks for the memories of joy and laughter we have shared with Garrett. Please let us look forward trusting Your time and grace. Amen
Heavenly Father-We put our faith and trust in You that You will help Garrett heal, so that he will be able to complete the mission You have in mind for him. It was not his time to leave, and so many are not ready to give him up. Make his body strong again and help his family to remain strong one day at a time. We pray in Your Name always-Amen
My name is Susan and my husband’s name is Jim. We have been married for 33 years. Jim’s going through a midlife crisis and having an affair, which has been going on for a year or so. He wants to end our marriage. There has been no legal proceedings as of yet. I don’t want our marriage to end and believe the Lord doesn’t want it to end either. I have grown very close to the Lord and believe there are situations where all you can do is pray and I feel that is all the Lord wants me to do. Prayer opens the gates of heaven and releases God’s power. Please pray for us and for the restoration of our marriage. The Lord has been very merciful and faithful to me and has done a wonderful job of sustaining me. I have turned this situation over to Him—along with myself and Jim. (Jim is a Christian) It is comforting to know that the Lord is able to do more than I could ever ask or imagine. Eph 3:20. Thank you for your prayers and support!!
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that you keep the Garrett and his whole family in your prayers. The positive news on Garrett is wonderful to hear though I am miles away and unable to visit I want them to know that I pray for him and his family everyday through your power and might you will help Garrett Win this battle I know it. Heavenly Father, Another day has dawned: For some it will be a good day for others it will be rough day, but they will at least know the dawn has come and see the dusk fall. We pray Lord, that Garrett will soon be able to see each day dawn and experience the evening shadows as the dusk falls! We understand Lord that some of his days will be good and some mostly likely rough, but Lord my prayer is that you allow him the privilege of experiencing each new day for a very long time. Dear Lord, please bless the Parker family. I know it is a very hard time for all of them, but I know that Garrett has the strength to pull through this. As I was told when I found out, everything happens for a reason, this I know, but I can't figure out what the reason was for this. But I know you had something good in mind for him. Garrett is the kind of person who can brighten anyone's day, no matter what is going on. I admire him so much for he has many great qualities. His smile and presence in this world have made many very grateful. I know that I am very grateful I got the chance to know and share many great memories with him, and I know that there will be many more to come as well! Lord, I ask that you put your healing hand on Garret in his time of need. I ask that you give the medical staff that is taking care of Garret the strength and knowledge to heal him. Dear Lord, Please watch over Garrett Parker and his family through their time of need. I have known Garrett since we were very young. When I heard that this horrible accident occurred I couldn't figure out why this would happen to such a wonderful boy, who has so much ahead of him. But Garrett is so strong, and has been able to overcome anything that has come his way. In everyone's life they come across tough situations they must pull through with and keep going. Dear Lord, Life is so difficult sometimes. You feel lost, and lonely, and sometimes confused on why certain things happen to you, or to good people. Garrett Parker is an amazing young man, and at first, Lord, I could not understand why you chose him to be the victim of this horrible accident. But then I realized that everything happens for a reason, that you send signs and miracles down to this Earth and most of the time they are so simple that we miss them. Garrett is not a simple person though, and you knew that, as well as the hundreds of people who are keeping him in their prayers at this very minute. Lord, I believe that you did this for a reason, one that we may never understand or know, but one that will touch the life of someone out there. I know that there are people out there who are scared, and I know that because I am one of them. So I ask you Jesus, give The Parkers, and all of us who are confused and worried and scared, strength and HOPE and glory in your name, for you do wondrous deeds. Help Mr. and Mrs. Parker and Jordan continue to be strong and have faith! Give Garrett the guidance and the strength to keep holding on, and let him know that all of us are keeping him in our prayers. He means so much to so many, Lord!!
