Dear Garrett, Jordan, Larry, & Dottie -- We said a special prayer for you in church yesterday. We wish Garrett a speedy recovery and the family strength to continue support during such trying times. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you. Love, Beanie & Barb
Garrett---It has been nothing but a blank picture frame in Latrobe without you. Your smile, laughter, and neverending happiness is contagious. It is greatly missed. We all know you the strongest one. You are involved in every opportunity given to you. This short "pause" won't stop you from being the best of the best at everything. I need you to get better so that I have my studying partner back. You were the only one to get me that "A" in Biology or Algebra 2, whatever the case was. Well, not the "A", but usually I was lucky enough to get the "B". haha. As your editor for Serendipity next year, I need you to get better and take some pictures for me! I know you are going to pull through this and join us on staff. We are all praying for you. Mrs. Stallings and I throw out all of our love and prayers to you. We can't wait to see your smile, along with the reflection of our own. I love you. Pauli
Dear Garrett & Family I work at the church.I am praying for you and your family everyday. Hoping for a speedy recovery. Get well soon. Love Elaine

Dear Parker Family, my family is with you through every step of the way. My family went through the same situation in late January when my sister was in an accident where she sustained a brain injury not as severe as Garrett's but pretty close. Its a very long road to a full recovery, be strong and push Garrett to do his best at the obstacles that are thrown his way. When the time comes when he opens his eyes its one of the most amazing times in your life because its a great feeling to know that he is still with you. There are days when you feel there is nothing that you can do but trust me when he is out of the hospital and making every effort to come back 100% you know that those days of feeling nothing was there, you will realize how much it paid off for you just being in the hospital at his side. He will make it through this the strong always do. He has many people watching over him and many people thinking of him everyday. Many well wishes are sent to him. Sincerely, the Burd family of Derry
To the entire Parker Family and to Garrett, Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. God is good and loving and merciful. HE is by your side. If God brings us to it....HE will bring us through it. Believe in HIM. The Gebicki family
From Richard March, his mother Janet and stepfather Craig, our thoughts and prayers are with Garrett and his family.
Keep on fighting, Garrett! Your family, friends, church, and a whole online community are praying for you and pulling for you. Open yourself to the healing power surrounding you--just let go and let God. You are going to be all right. Judy in Louisville, Kentucky

Hi Garrett :) I was leaving for Nashville the day of your accident and my family and I kept calling people everyday we were gone to find out how you were doing. I miss you and look forward to do a little dancing to bring back the good times from The Music Man! Get better soon sweetie! You and your family are in my prayers and my thoughts. Take care of you! Love, Natalie Urban
Larry, Dottie, Jordan, and Garrett, My thoughts and prayers have been with you since my mother got word to me the day after the accident. I have asked my Presbyterian church to add Garrett to our prayer chain and the Sunday's list of those to pray for. I have told the story to many of the teens in my community and I believe Garrett's story has made a difference in these young people's lives who don't even know him. Know that many in Maryland are learning from and praying for Garrett. Sincerely, Carol Lynch
Parkers, You are all in my heart and in my prayers. I have not stopped thinking about you and I know how it feels to talk and not know if he is listening but believe me he is and he will. Its tough to realize that this is what is happening but you are all strong and with everyone and god he will make it. I come from the experience of watching and I know its not something anyone wants to go through but hey God is watching every move he makes. Jordy if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here hun you know that. Give me a call you know the digits. Garrett get better soon were all cheering for you to get better... Love you all! Liz Balliett
Garrett, My prayers are with you, being sent any time and every time you cross my mind. The same goes for my family. Ever since our days together back at CDT you have been such a warm, happy, and strong person- I know all of that will help you now. There are so many people here that are holding you in their thoughts, and I am one of them. You have really made relationships with an entire community. May God bless you and continue to keep you in His love, along with your wonderful family. You are very special, and I can't wait to see your bright smile again! If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask. ~Megan Boerio~
Garrett, I was vacationing in North Carolina with Jay Alm and Andrew Firment when word got to us about the accident. One of the main reasons that I took the vacation was to get away from everything that is Latrobe. But when I was told about your unfortunate situation, I realized that I care about the people and things in this town more than I let myself believe. You were in my thoughts and prayers in North Carolina just as you are now that I am back in Latrobe. Remember to keep your faith and know that we all love you and anxiously await your recovery! Love, Rachel Hauser
Larry, Dottie, Garrett, and Jordan, I was so sorry to hear of the accident. I'm thrilled to hear that he is moving his toes on command. Please let me know if there is anything we can do to help. Of course we are praying constantly for all of you, especially Garrett. Bethany Church is including him in our prayers also. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Laurie (Ferguson) Richards
Garrett, Get well soon, the whole community has been praying, and myself and my family will all keep praying for you until your 100%. Hang in there :) ~Caitlin Bainbridge
Garrett, We all are here for you and your family. "that nice young man who helped me carry bags up my steps" Mrs. Davis who lives upstairs did not put the name to the face until she saw the Photograph in the paper. You have touched many of us in many ways, but this I thought, although a simple gesture, is indicative of the kind of person you are. Get well, the world needs more people like you. Sean , Lynn , Jenn
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Parker, Garrett and Jordan, I want you to know that I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. If you need anything, let me know. Garrett's strong faith and determination has always amazed me. Love Always and God Bless, Sherrie Dunlap :o)
