I never knew who u were but I heard from u by a friend and I will continue to pray for u - faith

Garrett, I am glad your getting better. keep up the good work!..we are all praying for you!

Garrett-I look at the website daily and I'm so glad that you have improved so much. Keep going! I hope to see your smiling face in school soon. We're all praying for you! You are in my prayers. Amanda Eaglehouse

Hi, My name is Donna Finlayson. I work with Patty McDonough at Hilltop Lab Animals. She has been keeping me informed as to how Garrett is doing. I just wanted to contact you and tell you to keep the faith. Garrett is in the very best place that he could possibly be. I know this from my own experience. My son, Erik, was in a car accident on April 15th of this year. He spent 3 weeks in a coma, 2 of those weeks in ICU on a respirator. He was then transferred to the Children's Institute (the other side of UPMC Rehab) where he spent 8 1/2 weeks. He had daily speech, occupational, and physical therapies. He is home now and doing much better. He now has outpatient speech and occupational therapies 3 times/week at Latrobe hospital. Erik will be going back to school next week. It is truly amazing how God helps to heal and most especially one as young as my son as well as yours. If you ever wish to speak to a parent who has gone through what you are going through now feel free to contact me at any time. Donna Finlayson 724-238-6286 dfinlayson@laurelweb.net

Way to go Garrett!! Keep up the hard work!!

Hey Garrett, I know I said I would try to come back up before school, but it doesn't look as though I am going to make it. You are always in my thoughts and prayers though. I am so happy to hear about your progress. Keep going! I will try to visit you as soon as I can. With Love, Ali

WAY TO GO GARRETT!! Keeping going big guy! Hang in there Dottie and family - your strength and faith will carry you thru this marathon! You are in my daily thoughts and prayers! I hope to stop in to see you all again - maybe next time Jessie can make it too. Please don't hesitate if I can help in any way. Dana Porterfield and Family.

Congratulations on your promotion...SO glad to hear you've been moved to a rehabilitation hospital. They'll work you so hard. You'll get so frustrated at them all but in the end they are only there to help you so you just have to grin and bear it. And believe me they'll make your recovery go so much faster....They make you do things you really don't want to do, in fact you hate doing but you'll do them and you'll be one step closer to being better. Hang in there my thoughts are really with you. Just ask Jan to join you at physical therapy. She is so helpful, when you think your done with some activity you absolutely dislike, Jan will show up and make you do it all over...lol...I hated bouncing balls and the rowing machine and I know it did help me but when I was done I was so relieved and then Jan would come walking in and guess what she'd ask the therapist to make me do it again so she could see. I just loved Jan's visits. lol.. Its funny to look back on it now but boy did I get a sick feeling in my stomach when I would see her coming through the door. But she knew what she was doing only helped me and I do appreciate all she did. Just felt I had to give you a heads up to her visits. lol...Beware...Carlene
