Garrett - you have no idea how great it is to hear that you're doing better. You have so many friends and family praying for you to get well, and I am definitely praying right along with them. Even though I am busy adjusting to college life, I am arranging to try to come visit you soon to tell you in person that I think you are great person and doing a great job recovering and to keep up the good work. love always *~Kristin Panigall~*

Hi Garrett! It's Mrs. Butler. I just wanted to let you know that I am going to try to come and visit you tomorrow night (Thursday). Everyone says how great you look - I can't wait to see for myself. I'll see you tomorrow:) Love, Mrs. B.

I have to agree with Katie, Garrett, you have an incredible sister who loves you a lot and is truly amazing with all that she's keeping up these days. Most teenagers are busy trying to balance school and there social lives which basically consists of telephone and instant messages and there is your sister balancing school, visiting with you every day, social activities like football games etc. and here she is with a smile on her face the whole time. What a great example to other teenagers...and she has you to thank for that...I'm sure she has a very different appreciation for things then most kids and just appreciates being able to have the chance to balance all she has on her plate right now. Plus what better examples does she have then two terrific parents to follow in their footsteps. You are truly a lucky young man to be surrounded by all of them. Keep up the good work. Carlene

we are all praying for you. get well soon!

"Trust in the Lord forever for in him you have Everlasting Rock." Isaiah 26:4 I've been wondering how to give that to you Garrett, and it finally came to me. You are such a strong person and I hope that after you wake up you will continue on your journey with God and trust in Him. I don't know if anyone has told you recently but Aunt Peg, Becca and I are moving out by the end of October. Pretty cool, huh? You are doing awesome for only being in this for a month. Usually people don't recover this fast, but watching you do it so well is truly amazing. You'll have tough times and you'll have smooth times, but you need to know that the Lord is carrying you and He might slip and almost drop you but he never will. You have brought so many people together in such a short while, you'd be very pleased with yourself. Aunt Dottie, Uncle Larry, and Jordy~ "Love one another deeply, from the heart." 1 Peter 1:22 That is something that you have always done except for now it is more obvious because of all the love you have received from your whole community and family. You must always remember "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13 The three of you give each other strength but remember God will always give it to you when asked. I love you all and I will soon be able to be with you. Love always, Liz

Garrett*I was glad to hear from Jordy today in gym that they removed your trach! It was gr8 news! Garrett...u have not idea how lucky you are to have Jordy. She has been an amazing sister to you during this past 1 1/2 months. She has also been and amazing friend to me. She told me what Seth said when he woke up the day of the accident. She was there for all of that when I couldn't be there because I was in South Carolina...I really appreciated it because if I wasn't there..I was really glad that she was. You are sooo incredibly lucky to have her!!! Everyday she leaves school after 3rd to come and spend time with you..and she comes back to school before 8th..She cares so much about you! I think that she truly is an amazing sister for everything she is doing right now...balancing school work with coming to see you everyday..I know it has to be really hard for her, but everyday she has a smile on her face and she looks sooo happy! She is and AMAZING sister to YOU, but also and AMAZING friend to ME!!! I hope you realize that when you wake up and are well enough! Well I got to go...glad to hear you are better...Ill write again tomorrow if I get the chance!! love, Kaytie Russo A.K.A.-Lil Schrecongost!

Garrett you're a great kid, God will be with you until you're back up and kicking a football again. God has much in store for you yet Garrett, this is only a minor set back that will strengthen and mature you're walk with Him. Through you He has shown us how we can all come together for one cause, I pray that someday it will be for His will and not ours. For now, I shall be praying for you every time you cross my mind. I look forward to seeing you soon. Be strong! --a brother in Christ--
