Starting off at the hospital then going to the rehab I saw many ppl in worse conditions then Garrett who new about Garrett's accident...The only reason anyone heard about his accident was from all of you...The support of Latrobe was unreal to me...I new Garrett was a great person but I didn't know how many ppl he had touched in his life...He set an example for everyone...and I know Garrett and I went at it at times he was always there for me and I was for him to...I remember the last time I talked to him he was mad at me for asking him to remind me how to burn a cd at 12:30 Tuesday night 2 weeks before the accident and that was the last time he has talked to me...I talk to him but don't get a response...I also remember all of the good times we had too and I will never let those go but I also know that there will be more to come...My mom always tells me that he is going to beat me up when he wakes up, because I torment him and try to make him mad but it is worth it for him to wake up...I want to remind you all that if Garrett and Seth weren't wearing seatbelts they probably wouldn't be with us now...That is what saved their lives and you need to wear one...I want to thank Latrobe for all of the support, love, prayers, food, and gifts...Thank you! Lots of Love, Jordan Parker

It is Friday night and I listened to the football game on the way home from the rehab The team is doing great and I know Garrett would be proud of all of you. He has so many great friends. It has been an interesting week. The doctors have been playing with his medicines and Garrett's eyes were open more today than they have been. He is moving around a lot. The doctor gave him a block in his right arm to relax the muscles. He also wanted to inject his leg but Garrett was so active he wore the doctor out. Dr. Zafonte plans to inject the leg on Monday. I enjoyed Garrett's visitors this week. Mrs. Butler, you are amazing - no wonder Garrett loved you. And I know Garrett enjoyed knowing all you young ladies (Julie, Amanda, Molly, Mikela) were with him this week. I enjoy your visits as well. Kaytie - your messages are so dear. Adam and Seth are lucky to have you as a sister and Jordan is lucky to have a friend like you. I caught up on reading the messages this evening and many brought tears to my eyes. I never knew how many special people there were out there. Please keep the prayers and message coming. I think this road would be much harder to travel without them. I love you all. Dottie Parker

I miss you Pork! Just wanted to say I'm thinking about ya. Keep pulling through. Much love, Heather Thomas

Garrett, I am so proud of you I never thought this would happen to either of us . I still remember the days we were in day care and we would chase each other across the yard and you would always catch me.(those were the best days of my life) Garrett I am so happy to know that you are doing great You made me relize you can't take life for granted . you are in my prayers and I think of you everyday. Katie Taggart

Dear Garrett, You don't know me as I haven't seen you since you were very small, but you know our daughter and son in law, and we know your parents. Our daughter is Jennifer (Ferguson) Lancianese and our son in law is Tony Lancianese. They remember you and Jordan from Karen Bridge daycare. They also know your mom and dad as he did their wedding pictures and has done every family portrait and senior picture. You are blessed to have such a wonderful, loving and supportive family. We all send our best and you are in our thoughts and prayers. Randy, Mary and Jessica Ferguson Tony and Jen Lancianese

Garrett & Family - Wonderful news! We are so happy to hear about your progress! We check the website every day. We want you to know you are on several prayer lists that reach from Western MD. to Eastern MD. to Somerest to Bucks County, PA. It's amazing how one request leads to another and keeps going. Derek gave his 3rd grade class an update this past week also. They are keeping you in their thoughts as well. We just wanted to you to know we think of you and pray for you every day.
