Garrett - What a handsome, terrific young man you have become. Just watching you improve little by little every day gives me faith and hope. And I know God is still with you and will not leave you. When your dad asked you what π is and you answered 3.14 - I turned to your Dad and said that's right? You are communicating more every day (especially on the phone) and working so hard in all your therapies. I am so proud of you. Again everyones prayers, messages, and cards keep me going - so please keep them coming. I am still amazed that it has been about 2 1/2 months since the accident and all the support is still here. Love always, Dottie

Garrett - It was great to see you doing so well the other day. We're looking forward to seeing you again, soon. You're making great progress. All the work you're putting in right now must be tiring. Just keep it up! emily, john, amy steeley p.s. Doris - hope you're feeling better. Take care of yourself.

Garrett - We hope you get better soon. Emily Steeley

Garrett- I cant explain to you how incredibly wonderful it felt to see u yesterday FINALLY. Its such a relief to see you. You are such an amazing inspiration to me. You are the most amazing person I know. I am here for you and your family ALWAYS! I am so blessed to have a friend like you. You have taught me so much about life. I will hopefully be down there to see you this weekend or next. I can't wait to see your smile and to throw the football with you. Oh an I especially can't wait for my hug and kiss ;) You are in my thoughts and prayers everyday. I love you Garrett! Keep improving!! ~Jess Yunetz

Garrett- I cannot express in words how happy I am to sit here and read how much you are improving day by day. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I have a picture of you and I in my locker at school from when we were in D.C. for Choral Cats. I know everyday while I'm in school you're working hard to come back to us. I walk down the hall and see all the footballs in the shape of the number 60 and it makes me want to cry. There are so many people thinking about you and praying for you and your family. Continue to do such a great job Pork! God Bless you and your family. Much love, Heather Thomas

Hi Garrett - here are ten reasons why you need to continue making such great progress in your recovery . . . so you can be: #10) kicking footballs and wrestling again; #9) carrying little kids around on your shoulders; #8) back to teasing (torturing??) Jordan; #7) dancing at the prom #6) flashing that beautiful smile around church and school #5) taking pictures and enjoying photography; #4) singing in church and school choirs; #3)enjoying fun times out socializing with your friends; #2) immersed in the Latrobe community surrounded by family and friends who love and care for you very deeply; and #1) so you can be home for Thanksgiving and Christmas!! Sure, there are many more reasons than this which is why our family is keeping you in our thoughts and prayers daily!! Keep up the good work while on this journey to recovery - and may God bless you always!! Grace and peace . . . Your Texas friends, The Batchelders

It is so great to hear about all the wonderful steps that have been made towards recovery! All of you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Bill, Cindy, & family

Hey Garrett, Ashley and I just wanted to let you know that we think about and pray for you everyday. The other day Aunt Toots left me a message saying that you continually said my name. It's great to know that even though I'm at college and unable to see you as often as I'd like you're still thinking about me. We are glad to hear that you're gradually improving. It's a long road to recovery but your perseverance, strong will, and good heart will lead to recovery. Both Ashley and I are looking forward to seeing you on the weekend of October 25. We just wanted to let you know that you're always in our thoughts and prayers. Love Always, Ashley & Jason
