Hey Garrett I can't believe today's Thursday already and you're at home! I bet it feels so awesome to be in your own home again! I can't wait to see you, one more day! I know I am going to be so surprised at how far you've come since the last time I saw you! I'm just so happy you are able to be in your home community and be closer to all your friends and family! Garrett- I'm SOO happy that you came home today.. this morning I got up I was like what day is today.. and I was like THURSDAY.. Garrett's going home today.. It was a truly amazing feeling.. as I went to church last night for my weekly classes that I'm taking there.. I always tell my minister how you are doing.. and when we were praying.. I prayed for you...and my minister all you heard out of her mouth was praise God praise God...for if he wasn't in your life I don't think anyone would make it through this!.. It was just an awesome feeling to wake up and know that you are going home...and that you might be at your football game tomorrow night...that's awesome Garrett...you have improved so much even since I have last seen you.. and I can't wait to see you this weekend!!! I'm so excited...Cindi was telling me how you are able to hold a conversation and everything.. I can't wait to be able to talk to you!!!!..Well welcome back home and I'll be there to see you either Saturday or Sunday... All of your hard work has paid off!!..even though you have made it this far we know it will still be hard.. but we are all behind you.. your community, friends and family (and even ppl who don't even know you...which is AWESOME)...I miss you bud and can't wait to see you this weekend!!! love ya! WOW... Its so exciting to know your coming home... For some reason today I was up at 5 really hyper and am having an awesome day. I cant stop thinking about you and to see your dad here as a substitute is awesome. Just walking by the room he was in and saying hi Mr. Parker made me smile and I haven't stopped since then.. Garrett - I am so proud of your strength, determination and faith. You have been an inspiration to me. I know we have a long winding road ahead of us but as long as we all travel it together with God, I know it will be a wonderful journey. I want everyone to know that they are as welcome at our home as they were at the hospital and the rehab. Garrett will need his friends and I know they will be there for him.
