Garrett- I check the website everyday to check up on how you are doing and it makes me feel so good to know that you are doing so much better! You are always in my thoughts and prayers...      Dottie, Larry and Jordan you guys have been so strong through this and we are all here for support. Love, Jamie Brighenti

Garrett - Thank you for today. What a wonderful day it was. Even though Garrett is still not awake he is much more alert and active. He tossed the football back and forth to Dave Mills (one of Garrett's best friends). Dave moved to the right of Garrett's chair and then to the left - and Garrett found him and still threw it to him. He even threw it to Dave on the move. He is following commands much better. The doctor was very pleased. I know it won't be long know. All of your messages are being heard and our prayers are being answered. Please keep the messages, prayers and support coming. GOD IS GREAT. LOVE, Dottie

Garrett~ I talked to your Mom today!! All I heard was wonderful news!!! You make me so proud, I can't wait to be out there and witness everything that you are doing! When Aunt Dottie told me about Dave throwing the football with you, you brought me to wonderful tears of joy. I knew you never give up and this is just another example of you fighting your way through something. You are so strong! You have a ways to go but remember everyone loves you and always will!! Aunt Dottie~ Garrett has been fighting this since day one and the corner that he has turned today is amazing. Hopefully the meeting will go well and Garrett will stay at the hospital. You have all the prayers from Des Moines, Iowa. Love always, Liz

Garrett*You WERE SOO AMAZING TODAY!!! I really mean that! You kicked the football (not as far as you usually do, but hey you haven't gotten the chance to practice). You also threw to Dave Mills overhand! It was soo amazing. The doctor's after seeing you today, might not send you home and might let you stay! I hope they do because you are doing so well in there! I'm really proud of you Garrett and everything you did! I know you don't know this, but you gave me about 5 hugs in between last night and today! You look GREAT! After the doctor's saw what you did today, everyone started to cry (even me!), but it was tears of joy! I couldn't wait to come home and tell Seth, but I am waiting for him to get here so I can tell him! I know he will be sooo excited! You only listen to Dave Mills...     he was the one playing catch with you today, and after he left, I was playing catch with you! You did soo great today and I am sooo proud of you! Before I got to the rehab center, I was really nervous about seeing you, but after I sat there and was seeing how good you looked, I relaxed and I was holding your hands and helping you in your bed and chair. It made me feel better to know that I knew you were doing better and I am glad I came to see you! When the doctor told you to try and take off your shoe, you were trying to, you wouldn't stop fighting! It was soo amazing for me to watch you NOT GIVE UP! Even though you didn't get it off (hehe), you wouldn't give up, and that is one quality I have always loved about you...     you NEVER give up! You are an amazing person, and I am glad I came to see you! I hope I get to come up again soon!! Maybe when Adam gets home, he will come up with me!! I gots to go, but Ill write later! I love you Garrett, Kaytie

Monday night Kaytie my mom and I spent the night at Dick's house...     We got to sleep in a bit while Jan and the kids were at the rehab...     When we got to the rehab Garrett was at OT...     We were greeted by Jan informing us on how Garrett's morning went...     Kaytie went in the OT room to watch Garrett...     He was responding alot...     We sat there with him and worked with him for a while...     He made soo much progress today we might get to stay there...     Dave Mills worked with him sooo much...     He got Garrett to Kick the Ball (He probably missed doing that)...     He threw the ball...     He was doing a great job...     My family has all of you to thank...     If it weren't for all of you and your prayers, thoughts, gifts we would have never made it this far...     Thank you everyone for everything from my entire family...     Jordan Parker

Garrett: I was so glad I got a chance to visit you on Sunday. You look amazing! It almost brought tears to my eyes when you showed us how you brush your teeth, and eat the lollipop! I know for some that seems like it's not a big deal, but that's a huge step in your improvement! I was a little hesitant on coming down, because I didn't know what to say to you, and I thought I'd feel out of place. Now that I have visited you, I wonder how I could have ever thought about not going! When you reached for my hand you touched my heart in a way that I can't explain. I loved being able to sit there and hold your hand and talk to you. It was such a relief to see how far along you've come. You are such an amazing person.  and your parents & Jordan are so strong! It's incredible! Love ya bud - Stay Strong!! Dottie, Larry, & Jordan- Stay Strong..glad I had the chance to spend some time with you!! Love, Kortney Haines

Garrett~ it makes me so happy everyday to read about your progress! Keep doing well! Megan Parke

Hi Garrett, Just read that you are doing better each day! That's what we like to hear! Hope you are having a good week and I'm praying for you and your family every day! Keep strong and keep thinking about the future! Take Care, Ashley Heckel

Hey. It’s been great getting to come down and see you. Sorry, I haven’t been leaving more messages, but I call your mom everyday after soccer to talk to you. She puts the phone next to your ear, and I get to say anything I want, and you can’t tell me to stop! It’s great, but I can’t wait for the day you can tell me to stop. Everyone in Clearfield that you know, and many you don’t, have you in their prayers. Get Well! I can’t tell you how much I miss you. I Love You. KTE
