Garrett, it's so wonderful to read about your progress every day here and I usually find myself in tears before I leave the site. I'm so excited to hear that you're singing again, eating in a somewhat normal "Garrett" fashion, and even coming home this week. I am so proud of you. I know that God will continue to keep you and your family strong and the community will continue to keep you in their prayers. I've even heard that you may be at the game for senior nite? congratulations on how far you've come, but I know it doesn't even compare to how far you will come. I can't wait to see you sometime soon! creation '04 isn't that far away, you'll have to stock up on those Old Spice wipes :) I know that God will continue to do amazing things in your life. hugs and prayers~ ashlee martz p.s. my roommates saw your picture on the site and said to pass along the "get well" wishes and they think you're "hott"... I knew you'd appreciate that last comment ;)

Garrett, WOW seems to be the most appropriate response. Even though we have know for over a week that you would come home soon...this all seems sooooo very incredible. You are amazing!! From the first moments of sheer terror- to singing to our awesome God- to home, this has been a life changing journey for all of your friends and family. We have all learned so very much from YOU, Your incredible parents (my vote for parents of the year), the oh so adorable Jordan and from each other. The important THINGS in life are right in front of us and we need to always treasure them. Thank you for reminding us of that. You are a very special person and my life is certainly blessed to have you a part of it. I look forward to seeing you again soon. Gods speed on the final leg of this journey home. I think you will be very proud of your home- Latrobe and where we have come while you have been gone. I can't wait for your sunshine smile to brighten this place up again. Love ya, Kym and all the Dorkos
