Hi Garrett! It's Mrs. Butler. I am so happy to hear about the move to rehab. Today was the first in-service day and coach Murray gave the entire district an update on your progress! You were the talk of the day:) So many people are pulling for you, thinking of you, and praying for you. God's ears must be ringing at all times during the day:) Maybe He just needs a little time to respond? We will all keep the faith and you keep fighting. We miss you and hope to see you soon. Love, Mrs. Butler
Garrett-I'm sorry to hear about the accident, but just from meeting you this year at the beach I know you're a fighter, and will get through this and come out of it much stronger. I miss you. You're in my thoughts and prayers.-Kelley
Get well soon. The Johnsons
Garrett.. I remember when I would come up and visit and you would tell me that you would drive to Iowa to watch me play soccer. I've never had anyone tell me that before and I remember joking around about it. You would say that and I said that I would come and watch you kick one of these days. Well I'm going to be at that first game for you. You might not be there in person, but I know that God has put your spirit over the whole field. It's truly amazing how many people care about you. You'd be so tickled about it all. I can hear you laughing and denying everyone's love for you. Garrett, you are so strong and you moving to rehab shows that. You'll get better and I can't wait to see you again soon! Love always, Lizzy

Garrett--We are SO pleased to see that you have been "promoted" and that you continue to improve--little steps are just as good as the big ones. We check the updates daily and you are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. Keep up the good work--we are praying for continued healing and progress. Dottie, Larry & Jordan, you are also part of our thoughts and prayers. Fran & Lorraine Burd
Hey Garrett, It's Mrs. Richards again. I'm so happy to hear you're on your way to rehab! It's a long row to hoe, but you're young and strong, and you're definitely going to make it! Hey, you want a good laugh? You know David is playing football this year after a 3 year hiatus. Well, they've tried him at kicking. Can you just see his big butt out there trying to kick that little thing? Dr. Richards and I are just praying that the coaches don't put him there. We're praying for you everyday. Believe us when we tell you that, because everyone is. May God continue to bless you with progress! Love, Dave, Tammy, David and Elizabeth Richards
Hey Garrett! Congrats on getting promoted! We're still praying and pulling for you!!! Dottie, Larry, and Jordan...keep the faith, we love you all! The Bobiches
You wouldn't remember me, Garrett. My name is Barbara Neill. I was Barbara Lyons when I attended your church. You were just a tiny boy. Your Dad took my wedding photos and numerous family portraits. Hopefully, this fall my youngest nephew will be photographed by Dad. I was walking to the studio with my niece to schedule this session when we discovered the note on the door about the accident. Take heart. The boy that ushered my wedding (my second cousin) was in a quad accident five years ago, and was in a coma for 2 1/2 months. This summer he walked down the aisle at his half brother's wedding. You will recover. I have been praying for you. I will continue to do this as long as it takes.
