Hi Garrett! It is Mrs. Butler. I am glad to hear that you are trying to open those eyes! Keep fighting:) It is going to happen - we all have to keep praying - God hears us and will soon answer all of our prayers. Hang tough - you have an entire community plus many more pulling for you! Love, Mrs. Butler

Garrett, I do not know you or your family but my family's thoughts and prayers go out to you. As I read of your accident I thought of my own 16 year old son learning to drive. My heart sank. My heart goes out to you and your family and I know through all the prayers being said in your name God will continue to heal you. Hang tough, fight for all those who love you and may God's peace and healing hand continue to be with you. In our prayers, the McInchok Family (Ligonier)

Garrett- I was back in LA for a few weeks and just heard about your accident today. I have read your daily update reports and I am very glad to see that your are making progress each day. Your strength and determination will get you through this. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. If I can do anything, please contact me at school. Wendy Hager-Sigler

Garrett, Hey its Abby. Boy I knew you were always a tough cookie and you have proved it once again. Your amazing. You and your family are in my prayers and my families. I love ya, and I know you will make it over these hurdles even though your a poll vaulter. LOL, Well just know your in my thoughts.

Dear Larry and Dottie, Just a note to let you know we are thinking of you both and of Garrett and Jordan. We are of course praying for Garrett's full and speedy recovery. We also pray for the two of you to have continued strength to deal with all the travel and emotions during this tough time. As an old and longtime friend of Larry's, (OLD?) if there is anything you need..shopping, errand run, etc. Please let me know and I will help in anyway I can. Thank you for continuing to keep everyone updated on the church site. It is so good of you and wonderful to be able to see how Garrett is doing each day. How wonderful that he took a peek at Dottie today! It's a good sign, and hopefully the first of more! Pam Walter

Garrett, Aunt Dottie, Uncle Larry, and of course Jordy~ Leaving Latrobe yesterday was so hard for me. I keep praying and am so glad that you all are becoming strong as a family. Not being able to be at the hospital with all of you is hard for the whole family out here in Iowa. I don't need to tell you how strong Garrett is and that he will make it through this and so much more because you already know that. I have so many good memories of the whole family coming together and this is just another one. The Lord is watching over you and hearing your prayers. Everyone in Iowa is praying for Garrett's recovery. Love, Lizbo

Garrett- We are glad to hear that you are doing so well. You and your family are constantly in our thoughts and our prayers. Stay strong. All of Latrobe is cheering for you. God bless. The Bloom family

So sorry to hear about Garrett's accident. We'll keep him in our thoughts and prayers. Carol Kunz Williams

Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Laney and Dan Crozier.

Glad to hear progress is being made. We all realize that the road ahead may be long and rough, family unity and love will go a long way in the recovery process. Everyone in this small city is thinking about you guys and hoping for the very best. This should remind parents and children alike not to take each other for granted and to always remember the importance of a hug and a kiss. The words "I love you go a long way." Wishing the whole family well. Theda Parke

Dear Garrett and the Parker Family, I am a friend of your nieces from West Des Moines, Iowa, Liz. I 1st heard about the accident a couple days after it happened. I'm sorry to hear about Garrett. Here in WDM there is so many people praying for Garrett. We all hope to hear some day soon that Garrett will be able to play football again. Liz told me how much faith Garrett has in the Lord! We all pray for him every night! I look at the updates each day! I'm so glad Garrett is doing better! I will keep updated from this site and Liz. If this is read to Garrett...Garrett you are liz's favorite cousin, she was devastated when she heard as I'm sure every1 was. She cant wait to hear you laugh again. I cant wait to hear if you'll be able to play football again. I wish you the best of luck in recovering and hope everything goes smoothly. As I'm sure everything will...even with a few bumps..you have so much faith in the lord! *all prayers to Garrett* Love Always, Get Well Soon Stephany N. J.
