How great it is to see all of Garrett's and our friends during the football game. Each one of your hugs and caring words mean so much to me. I have never met a coach like you, Coach Murray. I can tell you care so much for every player on that team. You are so dedicated. It's sad more people don't realize what you give to the Wildcats. Your wife and parents are also wonderful people and I thank God for bringing you and your family into Garrett's and our lives. Now a short update on Garrett. His sense of humor and personality are back. This week the Physical Therapist and I were working with Garrett getting him down on a mat to sleep because when he gets home he'll be sleeping on a mattress on the floor so he doesn't fall off the bed. After a several step process and he was laying on the mat - the Physical Therapist said now pretend you are sleeping Garrett. He made several snoring sounds. Garrett is getting stronger every day. The Rehab will probably be sending him home in a week or two. So please keep your prayers coming - we are actually witnessing a miracle. Garrett has even amazed most of the doctors. I don't rub it in their faces too much though - I remember telling the doctor you take care of the medical end, Garrett and all his supporters will take care of the faith and the prayers. You have all been there for Garrett and for us. And we love you and will never be able to thank you for all the support. Love, Dottie

Even in Garrett's "Sleepy" state of mind he is showing a lot of wisdom. Every coach knows that it isn't always the huge play that gets the touchdown~~~it is just as good to inch your way to your goals. Garrett is clearly inching his way to his own touchdown. That in itself is awesome. The strength that he is showing, the work that he is achieving ~~~all small miracles. Being able to come to this website and experience a little bit of joy (compared to Dottie, Larry, and Jordan) to share when we read about all of the daily accomplishments that Garrett is making gives everyone who knows Garrett an immeasurable amount of gladness. Garrett you will read these well wishes and prayers and realize the amount of care that we all have for you in this community. Theda

Hey Garrett! Keep up the good work. You get to eat some good food now, I bet that's a relief! I love mac and cheese it's my favorite, and I bet you liked it too! Peas yea gross, I don't like those either lol! That is awesome that you remembered pie. I don't think I even remember it which probably isn't a good thing, oh well. I can't wait to see you and I'm gonna call sometime soon! I miss talking to you/hearing your voice. I've been so busy lately, which is no excuse for not calling, but I wanted to apologize! Keep improving and stay strong hun! Never stop fighting, and I know you never will. You can do anything you want to, as long as you never stop believing. I'll never stop believing in you, you got my word on that! But I just wanted to say Hello and write to tell you I'm proud of you for all these new accomplishments, as I always am proud of you. You are one of a kind and I'm so lucky to know you and your family! I know I've been blessed with that. Stay strong Parkers and you're in my thoughts and prayers. Love always Liz H.

Hi Garrett, It's Mrs. Wydareny from the high school. I wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Mrs. Butler is constantly giving me updates about you and I'm so happy to hear of all the improvements you have been making. I miss your smiling face in study hall. You always manage to make me smile. Keep up all the hard work. It is paying off. Miss you, Mrs. Wydareny

To Garrett and Family, GOD IS SO GOOD! It is just a miracle to see so much improvement from each visit we make to see Garrett. It was so great to play football with you Garrett and I know on the next visit you'll be kicking that ball to us. God is with you and will continue to strengthen you each new morning. We will continue to pray for a full recovery. Love, The Poponick's

Garrett: It sounds like God's blessings have been coming your way! I hope and pray His blessings will continue for you and your family. I did not pay any attention to who you were or are, until I heard about your accident. I must say, it sounds like you have been a positive influence on many lives, before and after your accident. By the way, I am the mother of a jr. varsity football player and this is how I heard of what happened to you. I having been following your progress on this site. May God continue his Blessings on you and yours. I will be looking in on this site to hear of all your continued progresses! I know you, yourself, are and will be a Blessing to all who know you and will know you in the future. GOD BLESS, Cathy Denton
