Dear Garrett, Larry, Dottie, Jordan & family - - - We're thinking of you and praying for you daily believing that God will continue to give you the faith and strength to live each day with courage. The shadow of this tragedy is not so dark that the light of Christ cannot penetrate and bring hope and wholeness. Though patience itself is a difficult struggle, these are days in which we trust God to work out God's loving, saving purpose for Garrett and you all. In this we trust while relying on God's hand to lead and God's love to provide daily support. Our prayers for you all come with a TEXAS size hug - with love and best wishes from the Batchelder family.

Garrett- I still can't believe that this happened to you of all people! We've all been praying for you and your family, and that you'll make a speedy recovery! I thank God for your friendship with me! With Love Always-Nicole

My Dearest Garrett, The first time I met your Dad I was working as the Co-editor of the Latrobean; he came to school to take the candids. In the morning, we got to talking and he asked me if I knew of a good daycare, because he had an infant son and needed somebody to watch him during the day. Well, I indeed knew of a daycare because I worked at one with a wonderful caring and loving STAFF. After lunch, he brought back pictures (STACKS OF THEM) of you, and I fell in love with that adorable little face. Your parents enrolled you at KBDC and even asked me to babysit you. A few years later, Jordan came along and added to your wonderful family and our daycare one. Even though I love all the kids that have touched my life, and believe me there have been many, few leave such a lasting impression or have touched my heart like you and Jordan. I care about you very much and want you to get better soon! I know how strong you were when you were little and I know that "strong will" is still with you today. So, listen to me when I say this...Concentrate on getting better, fight hard, overcome your frustrations, love your friends and family, and let people help you or support you anyway they want. You will get through this just like you did when you played "Batman". I love you Garrett and my prayers and thoughts are with you, Jordan, and your Mom and Dad everyday. Looking forward to my next hug from you, Tina Lancianese

Dear Garrett, Larry, Dottie, and Jordan: We wanted to let you know that all of you are in our thoughts everyday. We know how strong you are as individuals and as a family, and we know that you will get through this together. All of our love and prayers, The Lancianese Family

Garrett, You are blessed with a family that will always be there for you and will help you through the coming days. We have known you since your parents proudly brought you to a Triangle meeting as a baby and have followed your growth into the fine young man you have become. Their pride in you is overwhelming. You will have many challenges in the future, but always remember you are not alone and so many people are praying for a fast and complete recovery for you. There is strength in numbers and nothing is stronger than your faith and the love of your family. This combination is unbeatable. We hope to hear more good news about you soon. Doug and Marlene Martin
