Hello Garrett! It is Mrs. Butler. I enjoyed spending time with you today - I know you heard every word that we spoke to you - your reactions were so strong. I could feel your fight in that tight grip on my hand. You keep fighting to open those eyes and wake up! We are all pulling for you. To Jordan and Mrs. Parker - your strength is amazing - I now see where Garrett gets his fight:) May God continue to bless you all as you see your way through the times that lie ahead. Love, Mrs. Butler

Garrett and the Parker family, our thoughts and prayers are with your family through this very trying time, you must be a very tough person to endure so much at such a young age, but if anyone can get through this it will be you, we know your family and it does not surprise us how strong willed you are, you keep fighting and we will keep praying, GLHS class of 1978

Dear Garrett, Larry, Dottie & Jordan: We were so happy to read about Thursday's progress! Keep up the good work and stay strong -- all of you. We send our love & support. The Staffen's (Bob, Dottie, Ryan & Daniel)

Garrett, We're all praying for you, get well soon and come home to us. School just wont be the same without you. Garrett you've touched more hearts and lives than you'll ever know. You don't deserve what's happened to you. Your one of the best people I know. Your so sweet and good hearted. You make everyone around you happy and full of warmth without even trying. Just get better and come home to us soon, I cant wait to see your smiling face back in the halls of old Latrobe, or to hear your laugh with friends. School wont be the same until your home. Nothing will.....we love you....hold on and pull out of it. Your constantly in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Garrett, I love you! Emily Steeley

Hi Garrett, We are all hoping and praying for you to have a quick and complete recovery from your accident. I miss seeing you, but you are in my thoughts most of every day and am sure that some of these days you will be up and around - and will be the Garrett that we all love. We will keep praying for you. I have some of my friends and our my church in Avonmore praying for your return to the Garrett we know and love. Take care and God Bless, Grandma Pride

Dear Garrett, You don't know me but I was forwarded an email about you from someone you know. I felt the need to send you my best wishes and to let you know that I will keep you in my prayers. The road you have to go will be tough but you are young, you will be strong again, and obviously, your family and you have faith in God. My son was in ICU with a young boy who had been in a bicycle accident. From the sounds of your updates, he was in a similar predicament. Although it took time, he did heal, he did walk, talk, and all those things that he did before. It took work but I am sure you are up for the challenge. To your parents, I wish and pray for peace within each of them. Watching your child struggle to survive is hard to do. What is that saying? What doesn't break you makes you strong. Through this experience your family will have been changed, but for the better. They will be stronger, there will be even more closeness, and their will be love beyond belief. Be strong and get well! Holly Giglio Tecumseh, Michigan
