Praise God from whom all blessings come. God is great and He "Will" do it! You will all continue to be in our daily prayers. Much love, Pat and Harry

Dottie, Larry, and Jordan, We're continuing to pray for you ALL. It's fantastic that Garrett spoke today. My Mom is here, with us, now in California. She talked to Uncle Marlin on Saturday and I think she talked to your Mom too. We're rejoicing with you and will keep praying. Love Barb

Garrett, your progress is remarkable. Keep it up!

TODAY GARRETT SPOKE HIS FIRST WORD...He said Hi to many people who called and visited...We told people he was in a coma but when we looked up the definition of a coma we found that it is non-responsive...But up until lately he is definitely responsive...we decided he was in a dream like state...It means soo much to m to go into the rehab and be greeted by Garrett with open arm to give m a hug...And today he I walked in and he said hi it really meant a lot...We would have never made it this far if it weren't for you...All of you who think of him pray for him and show your support for him really help...A big thanks from my family...Thanks soo much and keep them coming...Jordan Parker

Garrett- I am SOOO happy to hear of your progress! You are such an amazing kid and I am so proud of you for overcoming all these obstacles. Look at how far you've come in such a short time! We are all praying for you, and God is watching over you and helping you to your recovery. It won't be long now-- I can't wait until you come home, until I can see your smiling face again. I miss you a lot, and school is just not the same. Every day, I think of you and what you must be going through, and I really admire your strength and courage. Keep up the good work!

Garrett-I was overjoyed to read that you talked today. It is truly an inspiration to read about your progress daily. I continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and I know you will be back soon! Love, Sadie DiMuzio

Garrett, I know that you can understand this, although maybe you're just not able to respond. Hopefully someone will read this to you. I would really appreciate it. Even though you don't know me, my name is Stephanie Kunkle and I'm a junior at Kiski Area High School. I met your Dad through being on yearbook staff at my school. He's a great guy, and you're truly blessed by God to be so fortunate. I want you to know that you're constantly in my thoughts and prayers and I know that God is staying close beside, watching over you. Never give up, Garrett, God is always there and he will never leave you. There are a lot of people out there praying for you...I promise you're in good hands. Each new day is a blessing from God, and I'm so happy to hear that you're making progress. Keep on fighting. I'm praying to God that he will keep you in his hands and help you to recover, little by little, day by day. It may seem like a long time to you, but God has a special plan for you. You are a very special person in God's eyes and I promise that he will take good care of you. I'm wishing you all the best as you recover, Garrett. You are a true hero. Stay faithful to God and he will guide your way. Always remember, God is always on your side. Take care and hang in there...It might not be easy, but I know you can fight it! Love, Stephanie Kunkle GuardChick568@yahoo.com

LARRY- Dad, your the only one I haven't written to in this... I love Larry! Your seriously the funniest man alive and when in doubt you know how to deal with any situation. Your humor and love have guided me through a lot and you have always been f\their for me lie a father. I love you so much. SO much of you is reflected in your son and daughter, to which both of them I love so much! Your son has so many characteristics of you that shine through in everything he does. I remember looking at the picture of him in the wicker chair when he is really small, it hangs in the studio and thinking of that makes me think of how much I know about your family and how much I love you. I just heard he talked! Larry, I am so amazed, I Have been crying all nite. GOD has finally answered our prayers... keep the faith and stay strong... GOD is with you now. I love you Daddy, Yours Forever, Angelina "AP"

Hey Garrett, I am so proud of you. You have overcome so many obstacles, and it was so nice to see you break through them. I know I didn't get to see you that much, but I tried, and came whenever I had the chance, I just wish I had more time to see you. You looked so great when I saw you and I know you kept looking better day after day. Keep fighting and soon you will overcome this whole fight for your life. God has great plans for you and I know that whatever they are you will be pleased with them. I miss your smile, your voice, everything about you and hopefully they will be back soon! I can't wait until that day! You're family has been so strong for you and I look up to them so much. God has been with you and will continue to stay with you and work on you to make you even stronger than you were before. He does great things through painful situations, so just remember that! I miss you all and love you so much! I'll continue to pray every night for all of you! Love always Liz H

Dear Garrett, Larry, Dottie & Jordy: So glad to hear about the football tossing & ABSOLUTELY THRILLED to read tonight's posting about Garrett saying to his doctor, "My Mom". Dottie, those have to be the sweetest words you have ever heard! I have to admit, I had tears when I read it on the web site. Garrett, keep up the great work --you are almost there. Larry, Dottie & Jordy -- keep your strength and positive attitude going. We continue to keep all of you in our daily thoughts & prayers. Dottie & Bob Staffen

P.S-Jordy, we had one heck of a time yesterday! Did you go to work yet? hehe Thanks for letting me come up with you to see Garrett! It really relaxed me! Thanks so much for everything! And I am here for you no matter what gurlie!! Dottie-thanks for everything! We have so much in common...you are such a great mom to Garrett and Jordy! Keep doing your job and he will remember what a great mom you were! Heck if his first words were MY MOM, I know you had a impact on his life! Thanks for everything these past 2 days! I hope I get to come see him soon and hear him talk!!(hehe) Bye-Kaytie

Garrett*I am SOO PROUD OF YOU!! But why couldn't you have talked yesterday when I was there all day?!?! (hehe) Oh well, at least you said something! You have come soo far and I know you can keep going! Everyone is soo happy for you! I know I am soo incredibly proud of you Garrett! You are the best, and I know you can do it! I went to school today and told everyone that I went to see you yesterday and that you were throwing a football and everything else that you did yesterday..and they all got a big smile on their faces. I was really glad I came to see you! And to hear that you are saying "My Mom!" and "hi", it made me cry because I knew that you were back almost the whole way...its great news! I got to go, I write to you tomorrow. I love you Garrett-Kaytie

Garrett, words can't describe the emotion that fell over Mollie and Myself when you said hello to both of us on the phone a little while ago. It was so wonderful to hear your voice, even though it was a little hoarse. We have all been waiting for so long to hear you speak, that we both were crying along with your mom. Thanks Be To God and all of the prayers that you have been receiving over the past few weeks. We love you Garrett and will be down to see you tomorrow. Love, Toots and Mollie

MY FAMILY-I ad the greatest feeling come over me as I sat in the room with Garrett and all of you the other day. I looked in his eyes and knew he was looking back at me, holding my hand I knew he was communicating with me with his touch. I love you guys and always will, being with you makes me feel so blessed. Dottie-I love you and I know how hard all of this must be for you because I'm going through the same thing. I miss all the things you miss, his smile, his laugh, the way he walks and carries himself. I miss so much, but Dot, remember we are all praying and Garrett is a VERY strong boy. I read your prayer and could only think about how you would always say that Garrett was a good Christian and you weren't. GOD will be with him and you through all of your trials. Your son loves you so much and I envy the way he longs for your comforting gestures. Garrett and I always had a relationship that no one could match or take away and I love him for that, for always being there for me in any way. Also Dot, I love Jordan, let her know that I am her friend forever, Her sister and best friend for life. You've raised an amazing daughter. I watched her and Garrett fight the other night and could think about how she doesn't let the worst come out of this. She's a very positive and strong WOMAN. She has grown up so much and I love her dearly. She is the one I can talk to about anything just like I can with you. The point I'm trying to get across is that you are reflected n your children. Your strength, your love, your appreciation, your determination and all that you live for is shining through in your children. I love you like a mother Dot and no one could ever change that. You are the definition of amazing. I am forever grateful to you. And as hard as this may be to deal with day in and day out, you have to think of how many amazing memories you'll have with him after this. And how many you'll have with Jordy and Larry and ME of course. So Dot, don't cry, I am here for you and I love you and your family with my whole heart. GOD is with you now and will be as long as you need him. Eternal Love, Angelina

Garrett… I was so excited to talk to your mom last night, and she said you and Dave tossed the football. It looks like I will be coming down on Sunday morning to see you, and I get to spend most of the day. My parents have been very cool with letting me go to Pittsburgh most weekends. You have great parents and a really wonderful family. I can’t wait to see you this weekend. Keep working hard. Love Ya. KTE

Garrett, we thank God for all the progress you are making! Stay strong and know that God has carried you this far and will not leave your side.
